| A gorgeous South African white from the Cape Agulhas region.
This is unlike other Sauvignon Blancs in that the beautiful aromas are
hard to describe. It's a new style from a boutique winery.
Colour: Brilliantly clear with green tinge.
Bouquet: Distinctive green pepper, herbaceous
and dusty aromas that are true to the
variety.
Taste: Crisp and fresh throughout with good
acidity and a long, lingering finish.

| Villiera Chenin Blanc 2007 |
| This family run winery is situated in the Stellenbosch region. Villiera was amongst the pioneers of wooded Chenin Blanc in the Cape. The aim was to produce a rich, ripe wine which could handle a dimension of oak and would improve over an extended period. This was achieved by picking fully ripe grapes, allowing 6 hours of skin contact and pressing gently. Forty percent of the wine was fermented in oak, while the balance fermented in stainless steel.
