| Alto Moncayo Veraton Garnacha 2006 |
| A Jorge Ordones Selection
From Spain's Campo de Borja region.
91 Points IWC Tanzer Review
100% garnacha
Saturated ruby. Very spicy on the nose, which displays blackberry, blueberry, white pepper and cinnamon qualities. Sappy dark berry flavors combine intensity with depth, picking up candied licorice with air. Turns sweeter on the finish, which leaves an exotic floral note behind. This went through multiple changes in the glass and becomes utterly delicious. |

| Atalaya Almansa 2007 |
| 91 Points Wine Advocate
This is the first release of Atalaya. The 2007 Atalaya is a blend of Monastrell, Garnacha Tintorera, and other red grapes. The wine was aged for eight months in French and American oak. This purple-colored wine has an expressive bouquet of violets, spice box, leather, game, blueberry, and black cherry. On the palate it comes off as borderline kinky and definitely sexy with lots of easy-going flavor, superb depth, complexity, and a 45-second finish. Although it can be enjoyed now, it will evolve for another 2-3 years. |

| Casa Castillo Las Gravas 2006 |
| 90 points, Robert Parker’s The Wine Advocate
The 2006 Las Gravas is composed of 55% Monastrell and 45% Cabernet Sauvignon aged for 16 months in new 500-liter French oak. It offers an enticing aromatic array of pain grille, pencil lead, black raspberry, and blueberry that jumps from the glass. This leads to an opulent, dense wine with complex flavors, a smooth-texture, and a lengthy, fruit-filled finish. It will evolve for 2-3 years and offer prime drinking from 2011 to 2020.
92 points, Stephen Tanzer’s International Wine Cellar
Inky ruby. Heady aromas of red and dark berry preserves, potpourri, bayberry, minerals and smoked meat, plus a suave note of star anise. Sweet, focused and extremely fresh, offering vivid raspberry and candied cherry flavors and finishing with a powerful floral quality. Open-knit and delicious right now; there’s no reason not to drink this now but I have no doubt that it will hold well for at least a few more years. This is a remarkable value. |

| Clio Bodegas El Nido 2007 |
| 93 points: Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar
A blend of 70% Monastrell ( Mourvedre) and 30% Cabernet from 63 year old vines. A pungent, smoky bouquet displays rich dark berry preserves along with notes of licorice, violet, cured meat and black pepper. Brighter red fruits on the palate, which is surprisingly energetic for such richness. Tangy cracked pepper and mace notes build with air and carry into the finish. Leaves sweet red and dark berry notes behind on the very long, sappy and sweet finish. This energetic wine is already delicious.
Note: The 2007 Clio is in and it is every bit as compelling as prior vintages. [95 pts Robert Parker on the 2006 vintage, 96 pts Robert Parker on the 2005 vintage, 97 pts Robert Parker on the 04 vintage, 93 pts Robert Parker on the 2003 vintage] The consulting winemaker at Bodegas El Nido is Chris Ringland of Barossa Valley fame. This Spanish masterpiece is glass-coating opaque purple, it exhibits a sensational nose of earth, mushroom, leather, blueberry, and blackberry jam. On the palate the wine is supple-textured, complex, with vibrant flavors of spicy blue and black fruits and a big-time WOW factor. This is a totally hedonistic effort with exceptional length and balance. It is remarkably light on its feet for such a powerful wine. A Jorge Ordonez Selection |

| Emilio Moro Ribera Del Duero 2005 |
| 100% Tinto Fino
Wine Advocate 92 points
Wine Spectator 92 points
Wine Advocate The 2005 Emilio Moro is purple-colored with a complex bouquet of wood smoke, toast, crushed stone, and blackberry. Supple, ripe, and forward, this tasty wine will evolve for 1-2 years but can be enjoyed now through 2015. Score: 92. Jay Miller, February 2008.
Wine Spectator Black cherry and black plum flavors show focus and depth in this rich, polished red. Espresso and mineral notes add complexity, and there's a firm core of well-integrated tannins. Drink now through 2014. Score: 92. —Thomas Matthews, November 30, 2007. |
