90 points Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar Medium red. Classic Grenache bouquet of raspberry, white pepper, smoky herbs and flowers. Juicy red berry preserve and baking spices on the palate, with silky tannins lending support but quickly fading into the fruit. Clean and lively on the spicy finish. This is delicious right now. Grenache is a thin-skinned, heat-loving grape which by some counts is the world’s most common red variety. It is best known for being the principal component of the wines of the southern Rhône Valley and for Rhone style blends in California and Australia.
