The Artesa Estate Pinot Noir Carneros 2003 bursts with bright cherry and raspberry aromas, and hints of cinnamon, roasting coffee, pipe tobacco, chocolate and cedar. As with the Chardonnay, this wine has also spent 14 months in French oak, 50% of which is new. Exceptional mid-palate weight and a silky finish demand another pour.
